They also protect our housing stock which has been costly to create, both in financial and environmental resources.
This is without taking into account the human element, which should not be disregarded in creating sustainable communities.
We recently had an enquiry about the carbon footprint of a fire. Of course, this will vary from fire to fire, and our fire engineers no doubt will model one in response to our enquirer. However, the carbon footprint of a fire will always be monumentally greater than that of a fire sprinkler activation and re-commission.
